Why my printer says out of paper when it's not?

Your printer says out of paper when it’s not? Well, there could be a number of reasons behind that. The printer might not be able to detect the sheets just because they have not been placed properly.

As a primary step, you can check the paper’s state in the tray. If it is torn or curved from the edges then you might need another sheet to continue. You should also check the dimensions of the sheet and whether they go with the suggested size or not.

If there is nothing wrong with the sheets then there might be an issue with the paper rollers. If it has dust particles on it then your printer will say out of paper even when it is not. Use a lint-free cloth and some water to clean the paper rollers. Place them back once they are dried and try to print again.
