Valve and RS3 gold ohh would like you to add steam wallet instead even in link stores. And any in RuneScape game purchases need to be locked so that a player accessing via steam can pay via steam. They want their money, you can not blame them but it is full of negatives from the view of jagex. You also have the update procedure in general, I do not know what type of lead time steam want with updates being pushed and if that would work with how often RS is upgraded. Many mmos possess their own launcher, and steam updates update the launcher. Steam keeps up the launcher the launcher patches RuneScape, completely out of steam.

How can you understand this? Certainly you must not be so delusional to believe your armchair understanding is exceptional to Jagex, a firm with hundreds of workers who would have certainly considered the possibility of starting on Steam + already done a comprehensive cost-profit analysis. This is a business that's gaining record profits while using a dwindling player base (RS3). Being a company does not mean you're suddenly god when it comes to those choices. They didn't even consider OSRS that was be a huge success, and until gamers started petitioning and whining about it.

I guess that they must not understood how popular it had been even though people had been begging because the launch of EoC for it. Sure, they do not necessarily know best. My point is not Jagex is all-knowing and could be relied on to always make the right decisions, that. It is without contemplating the picture, that a great deal of players create suggestions.

RuneScape moving to monthly upgrades

Of course nearly all the opinions will be"haven't they already done that" but allows really have a conversation. They're officially changing the anticipation from every Monday having something to it really only being once a month. Seems as though they are opting for the close of the month as a release point for all their upgrades. They have done this in the past, but its nice to know that upgrades are coming at the end of the month and they use the month to construct hype for that upgrade, kind of like how they announced Desperate Measures 20 days before its launch.

As a whole I feel this is a good thing, for both the players and Jagex. We do not have to log in every Monday to understand there isn't something new and instead can concentrate on the final Monday of this month and from the time it comes around we'll know what the upgrade is. In all honesty I think that they should ramp down their attention on graphical fidelity, OSRS more than anything ought to be a sign that people mostly care about the mechanisms of RuneScape. Barebones visuals'd be taken by me in exchange for significantly expedited upgrade program. I mean repurpose and reuse some of the models or buy RuneScape gold animations out of RuneScape's past and rig some quality content.
